Creamy Brussels Sprouts & Bacon Dip

  • 2 1/2 cups Brussels sprouts, roughly chopped
  • 6 pieces of bacon, chopped
  • 3/4 cup DairyPure® All Natural Sour Cream
  • 4 ounces (1/2 package) cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Cooking instructions
  1. Heat a cast iron or oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Chop bacon into small bits and saute until the fat is rendered and the bacon crisp. Remove bacon from the pan.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts, and stir. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until tender and slightly wilted and then remove from heat, turning off burner as well.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together sour cream, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese, half of the cooked bacon and stir. Add Brussels sprouts mixture to the bowl and stir until well combined. Season to taste.
  4. Grease the cast iron so the dip doesn’t stick. Spoon dip back into the skillet, top with remaining bacon bits, and bake at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
