Enjoymint Peppermint Pie

  • 8 oz peppermint candy, soft type
  • 2 1/2 cups DairyPure® Heavy Whipping cream, 2 cups whipped
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 chocolate cookie crust
Nothing says holidays like peppermint. Whipped into dreamy clouds on a chocolate cookie crust, this pie is pure enjoyment(or mint) in 5 ingredients or less!
Cooking instructions
  1. Soften gelatin in water, set aside.
  2. Put half a cup whipping cream in small saucepan with candy and cook over low heat until candy melts.
  3. Add gelatin, mix well.
  4. Let cool and fold in whipped cream, reserving ½ cup for garnish.
  5. Pour into crust. Chill.
  6. Before serving, top with remaining whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies.
